Ingredients
1/2 kg yellow pumpkin (cut into small cubes)
1/2 cup scrapped coconut
10 cloves of garlic crushed
5 dry chilies
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1 large onion
1/4 tsp turmeric
oil
salt to taste
method
In a casserole pan add 2 tablespoon oil,once heated add mustard,garlic crushed and red chilies broken into two fry till it mustard crackers,then add finely chopped onions,turmeric powder and fry well till onion is becomes soft.Then add the pumpkin pieces and salt,toss it well until all masala gets coated to the pumpkin pieces,cover the pan and cook on slow flame for 10 min,later add scrapped coconut and mix well,again allow it to cook for 10 to 15 min on slow flame until it cooks.Serve with hot with Roti's or side dish with white rice.
