Paneer Parcel

Paneer Parcel/cottage cheese parcel a great snack at birthday parties or any get together. Quick and easy to make pastry snack. Recipe tried from you tube channel by Ruchi Bharani.
Servings 6
Total Preparation Time : 30 min
Cooking time : 10 min

250 Gram shredded paneer (cottage cheese)
1 Green Capsicum finely chopped
1 Green chili finely chopped
1 Large onion finely chopped
Green coriander 
1 Small bowl of grated cheese
Samosa sheets
1 Bowl of thick paste of all purpose flour(maida paste)

  • In pan add very little oil,on tat add onions,capsicum,green chilies and saute for a min and remove the pan out of burner.
  • Then add grated paneer,cheese and chopped green coriander.Mix all the ingredients well.
  • Once mixed well make small balls and keep aside.
  • Take the samosa sheets then cut sheet into half vertically and then half sheet horizontal.Then place one part of sheet on flat surface, in center apply maida paste and on top place other part and make it as pluse sign.
  • In center place the ball of paneer,then fold the all four parts of the pastry and apply the maida paste to the all four corners of the parcel to avoid leakage of stuffing.
  • Deep fry paneer parcel quickly once you done with feeling so as to avoid from getting the pastry dry.
  • Serve hot with tomato sauce.

Maharashtrian Peanut & Garlic Chutney

Peanut & Garlic chutney all the way from Maharastrian cuisine.The spiciness of chilies and garlic along with mild sweet taste of peanuts gives awesome taste. Its a great combination with rice roti and curd or you can just spread on chapati or Dosa.
Total Preparation Time : 30 min

250 Gram of Roasted peanuts
20 Red chilies
15 flakes of garlic
1 Table spoon sugar
Salt as per taste

  • First Roast the peanuts and allow it to cool(you can remove the skin or you can keep it like that)In the same pan roast the red chilies as well.
  • Once peanuts and chilies are cooled ,than take a mixture jar add red chilies and grind roughly.In the same add peanuts and again grind roughly.At last add garlic and grind .make sure its not ground very fine because while eating chutney you should get the fine peanut crunch.
  • Than remove the powdered chutney in bowl,add salt and sugar .Mix well and store in air tight container.
  • Serve with hot chapati or roti.

Rice stir fry with cafreal chicken and zucchini

Just tried tossing rice in cafreal chicken dry gravy along with zucchini and mushrooms.Sometimes certain variations in food is a must to keep your taste buds active.Tasty rice with cafreal gravy flavour and grilled veggies gives some nice earthy taste.

Total Preparation Time : 30 min
Cooking Time : 20 min

1 Bowl cooked chicken cafreal
2 Bowls cooked rice
1 Onion chopped
1 Small bowl of yellow and green zucchini diced
6 Rings of yellow and green zucchini
3 large Mushrooms sliced
1/4 tsp pepper crushed
olive oil fry tossing


  • In deep pan add olive oil,once heated add chopped onions and saute well.
  • Than add the zucchini and mushrooms and toss well.Add pepper and salt as required
  • Add chicken cafreal cooked into the pan and mix well along with veggies added.
  • Add cooked rice and toss well in the chicken cafreal gravy( high flame for 2 min)
  • on the other hand grill the roundels of zucchini and slices of mushrooms ,at the end sprinkle salt and pepper.
  • serve the cafreal rice along with grilled veggies.
