{Recipe} Marzipan ( No Cook & Egg less)

 

Marzipan-Its is dough prepared originally using Almond's paste and mostly used as fondants for cakes or also used in preparing Easter Eggs. Marzipan is used to prepared sweets during Christmas which are molded in fruits shape or shaped by using Silicon Molds. These small cute Marzipan sweets are  prepared during Christmas in most of the Catholic homes as part of the "Kuswar Platter".
















Today's marzipan recipe I have used Cashew nuts powder, no Eggs or cooking required. Otherwise mostly Marzipan recipe requires Egg white followed by cooking until the mixture is all done. This no cook recipe without egg is easy and anyone can give it try during this Christmas.

So lets begin with recipe and don't forget to watch the video too.

Servings 42 Marzipan shapes

No Cooking

Preparation Time :Approx 30-40 min

Ingredients

250 Gram Cashew nuts 

100 Gram of Powdered Sugar

Rose Essence

Food Colours

2 Table Spoon water


Step Preparation with Pics and Video



1.Take the Cashew Nuts and add to a Mixer Jar.Grind to a fine powder.










2.Then pass the ground Cashew nuts powder through a sieve at least 2 times to get more finer powder.










3.Add the powder to a large bowl.To the add the powdered sugar and mix well.










4.Add few drops of rose essence or almond essence and again mix well.










5.Later add 1 tablespoon of water and start kneading into dough.If required add one more spoon of water and knead to a soft dough.











6.Then divide the dough into portions as required. Add colour of your choice and mix the colour well into the dough and keep aside.











7.Take silicon moulds and start filling the marzipan dough into the shapes.once all the mould shapes are filled level the surface before unmoulding the shapes,



8.Slowly unmould the shapes into a plate and allow to dry well . At least for 8 hours .

9 .For longer life of the Marzipan store it in refrigerator.

{Recipe} Paneer Tikka (Pan Grilled )

PANEER TIKKAAn Indian Vegetarian appetizer prepared by using Cottage Cheese and veggies mostly loved, demanded by vegetarian foodies but even the Non-vegetarians never miss a chance to enjoy these Grilled PANEER TIKKA . 


Mostly Paneer Tikka is Grilled using Indian traditional Tandoor's  to get smokey earthy flavours. But today Paneer Tikka is prepared using Bamboo skewers and grilled over pan. Guess what, the result is amazing as usual. This is not my first attempt but Paneer Tikka skewers are often prepared in my Kitchen on my elder kid's Demand.



How Paneer Tikka Is prepared ?
 
Paneer Tikka is prepared using Indian Cottage Cheese and few veggies like bell peppers,onions, Tomatoes and the marinated using Indian spices and Curd /Yogurt being used as main ingredient which helps in binding all the flavours thoroughly. Then Paneer and the veggies are arranged on skewers and the Tandoor Grilled or Pan Grilled or even you can use Oven to Grill it.

What are the spices and other ingredients in the Marinate?

This super Yummy Paneer Tikka Marinate includes below Ingredients 

200 gms Paneer 

100 gms Yogurt

Half Tsp of Turmeric powder 

1 Tsp of Chili powder 

2 Tsp of Garam masala 

Salt as per Taste 

1 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste 

1/2  cup Tomato Cubes 

1 cup of Onion Cubes 

1/4 Cup of Green Bell Pepper Cubes 

1/4 Cup of Red Bell Pepper Cubes 

1/4 Cup of Yellow Bell Pepper Cubes 

Oil for shallow frying

1. In a bowl add dry spices (Turmeric, Chili powder, Garam masala & salt), Ginger Garlic paste and Yogurt. 
















2. Mix all the above ingredients to smooth paste. 

3. Add the cut cubes of Paneer, Capsicum, Onions & Tomatoes to the marinate. 
















4. Mix all the above ingredients well assuring all the vegetables coated equally. 

5.Then Take the Bamboo skewers and start arranging .

6.Once veggies arranged ,skewers will look like below pic.

7.Arrange all the skewers aside.

8.On the other side keep the Grill pan on stove & add oil.


9.Once pan & oil heated place the Paneer skewers on the pan.

10.Turn the skewers occasionally until the fry well on all sides.Fry until the paneer & veggies get nice Golden colour. 


11.Perfect Vegetarian Paneer Starters ready for any party's or get-together.

{Recipe}Chicken Popcorn

 Chicken Popcorn recipe-Learn to prepare KFC style chicken popcorn at Home with some my twist in the ingredients.Chicken Popcorn is great idea as starter or an appetizer for Birthday Parties or any get together and for dip you can use mayonnaise or Ketchup. Its a delicious and crunchy snack for kids too.Chicken Popcorn is prepared throughout the world in all the regions but only variations would be taste,flavors and the ingredients.

Today's recipe is simple one with some basic spices and herbs available in my pantry and for coating i have used plain cornflakes crumbs and it really gives Chicken popcorn's extra crunch .I have earlier also prepared Chicken popcorn but never posted and also once i prepare they are just gobbled within minutes.Its always been much loved recipe in my house.On my blog you can also check for Chicken PopCorn with oats coating,but the more crunch you will find in flakes crumbs and also coats well.


These Chicken Popcorn's you also prepare in advance and then store it in airtight container or a zip pouch bag and store it in freezer hence becomes very convenient when your kids demands or any guest drops in home.So lets begin with Chicken Popcorn recipe.

Ingredients

500 Gram Boneless Chicken

salt as per taste

1 Table spoon Lemon juice

2 Tsp Ginger-Garlic paste

2 Tsp Pasta Mix

2 Tsp of Peri-Peri Mix

2 Tsp Pepper crushed

1 Table Spoon Tomato ketchup

1 Egg

1 Table Spoon Corn Flour

2 Cup of Corn Flakes Crumbs(Can take extra if required)

Oil for deep frying

Tomato ketchup/Mayonnaise for dip

Step wise procedure with pictures

1.Firstly arrange all the ingredients so its easy to grab.Make sure to take boneless chicken pieces.

2.Add Salt as per taste

3.Add Lemon Juice,make sure to add only juice without seeds.

4.Then add Ginger Garlic paste.the paste should be fine and smooth.

5.Later add Pasta Mix (The mix consist of dry garlic,oregano,dry basil and rosemary.)

6. Add the Peri-Peri Mix 

7. Add the  Pepper Crushed(you can also add pepper powder).

8. Add Tomato Ketchup or can also add Tomato sauce.

9. Take a Egg.(always drop egg in bowl and take so to avoid adding rotten egg)

10.Corn flour.

11.Mix all well.Allow to rest for 10 min.
12. Crush the Corn flakes to fine crumbs.
13.Should be fine enough so its can coat the chicken pieces.

14.Take the Chicken pieces and drop into the flakes crumbs.

15.Coat well the Chicken cubes well in the crumbs of flakes.

16.Arrange all in a plate.You could also store in a airtight container and store in freezer and fry when required.

17.Mean while keep the oil for heating.

18.Once oil heated drop the coated chicken pieces in oil.

19.Let the pieces fry well on medium low flame.

20.Deep fry until brown and crispy.

21.Place the fried Chicken popcorn's on kitchen napkin to absorb extra oil.


22.There you have Chicken Popcorn's Delicious and supper crunchy from out side and moist from inside .
