Paneer Vermicelli Croquettes was specially prepared for my son Clive who is just crazy for Paneer dishes.My sons school had class room party and they had to carry extra snack and so i decided I'll make something healthy and at the same time tasty and attracting to the Nursery Kids eyes :).
So when i was surfing through the You Tube video's i found many paneer and potato snacks but i found this Paneer Vermicelli very interesting.So lets begin with this kids friendly Dish.

Ingredients
3 Boiled Potatoes
250 Gram Paneer grated)cottage cheese
1 onion Chopped finely
2 Tsp Ginger/garlic paste
2 Green chilies chopped
1 Tsp pepper corns crushed
1 Tsp Garam Masala
salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Mini Cheese cubes
1 cup all purpose flour for making batter(for liquid coating)
2 Cups of fine roasted vermicelli for outer coating
Method
- Take the boiled potatoes and mash it in a large bowl,than add grated Paneer,chopped chilies,pepper crushed,ginger/garlic paste,onion chopped and salt.
- Mix all the ingredients well and make sure its not watery.If you find watery little watery than can add bread crumbs which will help to combine well. Once mixed keep it aside.
- Than for coating make all purpose flour batter for that take one cup flour in bowl and add required water,pepper crushed.pinch of salt and chili powder and make a thick batter.
- And for outer coating take the roasted fine vermicelli and crush it into small pieces so it will coat well on the croquettes
- Than take the mixture of potato and paneer and shape up into round pops or ball and each pop dip in flour batter and than coat it with vermicelli and keep aside.
- In a pan keep pour oil for deep frying the pops .Once heated deep fry the paneer potato croquettes till golden brown,make sure u do not burn it.
- Sever Hot as tea time snack or for kids as snack.Enjoy with Tomato ketchup.
