{Recipe} Marzipan ( No Cook & Egg less)

 

Marzipan-Its is dough prepared originally using Almond's paste and mostly used as fondants for cakes or also used in preparing Easter Eggs. Marzipan is used to prepared sweets during Christmas which are molded in fruits shape or shaped by using Silicon Molds. These small cute Marzipan sweets are  prepared during Christmas in most of the Catholic homes as part of the "Kuswar Platter".
















Today's marzipan recipe I have used Cashew nuts powder, no Eggs or cooking required. Otherwise mostly Marzipan recipe requires Egg white followed by cooking until the mixture is all done. This no cook recipe without egg is easy and anyone can give it try during this Christmas.

So lets begin with recipe and don't forget to watch the video too.

Servings 42 Marzipan shapes

No Cooking

Preparation Time :Approx 30-40 min

Ingredients

250 Gram Cashew nuts 

100 Gram of Powdered Sugar

Rose Essence

Food Colours

2 Table Spoon water


Step Preparation with Pics and Video



1.Take the Cashew Nuts and add to a Mixer Jar.Grind to a fine powder.










2.Then pass the ground Cashew nuts powder through a sieve at least 2 times to get more finer powder.










3.Add the powder to a large bowl.To the add the powdered sugar and mix well.










4.Add few drops of rose essence or almond essence and again mix well.










5.Later add 1 tablespoon of water and start kneading into dough.If required add one more spoon of water and knead to a soft dough.











6.Then divide the dough into portions as required. Add colour of your choice and mix the colour well into the dough and keep aside.











7.Take silicon moulds and start filling the marzipan dough into the shapes.once all the mould shapes are filled level the surface before unmoulding the shapes,



8.Slowly unmould the shapes into a plate and allow to dry well . At least for 8 hours .

9 .For longer life of the Marzipan store it in refrigerator.
